Scope These General Terms and Conditions (T&C) apply to all orders and purchases of coffee beans, ground coffee, accessories, coffee brewers, and coffee accessories (hereinafter referred to as “Products”) through our webshop.
The purchase agreement is concluded with Blum Kaffee GmbH, hereinafter referred to as the “Seller.”
Order and Conclusion of Contract
- The presentation of the Products in the webshop does not constitute a legally binding offer but rather an invitation to order.
- By submitting an order through the webshop, the customer makes a binding offer to purchase the selected Products.
- The Seller sends the customer an order confirmation via email. This order confirmation does not constitute acceptance of the offer but merely confirms the receipt of the order.
- The contract is only concluded when the Seller ships the ordered Products to the customer and sends a shipping confirmation via email. The Seller reserves the right to reject or cancel orders.
Prices and Payment Terms
- The prices indicated in the webshop are final prices in the respective local currency and include the applicable value-added tax.
- The customer can pay for the Products with credit cards via the payment provider Stripe or via bank transfer through Klara Bank.
- When selecting payment by credit card, the customer will be redirected to the secure payment page of Stripe to enter the required payment information.
- Payment by bank transfer is made using the bank details provided during the ordering process. The customer is obliged to transfer the invoice amount within [number of days] days after receiving the order confirmation.
Shipping and Delivery
- The Products are shipped via DHL. The delivery times are typically 2-3 days, depending on DHL, country, and region.
- The shipping costs are indicated during the checkout process and depend on the delivery location. Free shipping is available for orders above a certain quantity, as displayed during checkout.
- After the Products are shipped, the customer will receive a shipping confirmation via email, including a shipping link for tracking the shipment.
Returns and Refunds
The provisions regarding returns and refunds are defined in our separate Return and Refund Policy. Please refer to this policy for further information.
Limitation of Liability
- The Seller shall not be liable for any damages, losses, or injuries arising from the use of the Products.
- As the Products are food items, the customer assumes the risk regarding their compatibility. The customer is responsible for the proper handling and storage of the Products.
Jurisdiction and Applicable Law
- For all disputes arising out of or in connection with these T&C and the contractual relationship, Swiss law shall exclusively apply, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).
- The place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising out of or in connection with these T&C and the contractual relationship is Arbon, Switzerland.
These T&C come into effect as of 1.1.2023 and remain in effect until further notice.
